Mission Housing Development Corporation is a nonprofit, community-based organization that shelters, stabilizes and empowers thousands of
the most vulnerable Mission District and San Francisco residents. As a community development corporation, Mission Housing also provides technical assistance to other organizations.
This expertise, in areas such as financing, construction, design and property management, helps make more affordable
housing and supportive services available to San Franciscans.
A friend of the Mission District
Mission Housing partners with many community-serving organizations to advocate solutions to the San Francisco housing crisis,
and to preserve the character of the Mission District. Residents of the Mission District are invited to access a number of community
services available at select Mission Housing developments.

The economic vitality of the Mission and other SF neighborhoods is strengthened by the community-serving ground-floor retail operations in the commercial spaces of Mission Housing residential properties. The storefronts of these small business and nonprofit tenants generate funds for the resident and com
